Who This Is For

This Is For You If...

PIC isn't for everyone. It's for adults who are done waiting. If any of these sound like you, keep reading.

You're a working adult ready to change careers — and you don't have 4 years to spend on a BSN.Average PIC student is 28. Most are juggling kids, jobs, or both.
You're a CNA, MA, LPN, or paramedic ready for the next step. Many transfer in with significant credit. Talk to admissions — could save you a quarter or more.
You want a recession-proof career earning $65,000+ starting in Florida.RNs are the #2 most in-demand healthcare role in SW Florida. Hospitals are hiring before you graduate.
You need a program that fits around your existing life — not the other way around.Small cohorts. Real instructor access. Built for people who can't drop everything to study.
You're worried about the cost — and want to know exactly what aid you qualify for before you commit.91% of PIC students access federal aid. Most qualify for $7,395/year in Pell grants alone.
The Real Cost Of Waiting

Every Month You Wait Is Another Month In The Same Job.

Most prospective nurses think about applying for years before they actually do it. Here's what those years cost.

$45,000 in lost income. The difference between your current paycheck and an RN's first-year salary. Multiplied by every year you delay.

A career ceiling you can't lift on your own. Without a nursing license, your earning potential is capped. There's no shortcut around it.

The aid eligibility you have today. Pell grants, VA benefits, and federal aid programs change. Locking in this year's package matters.

Two years of seniority on a hospital floor. The RN who starts in 2026 will have 2 years of clinical experience by the time someone who waits starts.

Real Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

How hard is the NCLEX-RN, and how does PIC prepare me?+
It's hard, but it's teachable. NCLEX-style practice is embedded across all 8 quarters — not crammed in at the end. By the time you sit, you've answered thousands of practice questions. Our 2024–25 cohort NCLEX-RN pass rate was 92%* — above the national average of ~87%. *Reported figure for the 2024–25 graduating class.
What does it actually cost — and what aid will I qualify for?+
Total tuition is $22,140 across 24 months. 91% of PIC students access federal aid. Most qualify for Pell Grants (up to $7,395/year, doesn't have to be repaid), federal Direct Loans, and state aid. Your exact number depends on your FAFSA — which our team will walk you through free, in one sitting.
Will my prior credits or healthcare experience transfer in?+
Yes — often significantly. Active LPNs, CNAs, Medical Assistants, paramedics, and students with prior college coursework regularly transfer in with credit. The Registrar reviews each transcript individually. The fastest way to find out is to start the eligibility review below — that conversation can save you thousands of dollars and months of time.
Can I work while in the program?+
Most students work part-time (20 hours/week or less). Working full-time during clinical quarters is doable for some — usually those with flexible employers or PRN schedules. Budget at least 20 hours/week for independent study. If your current schedule doesn't allow that, we'll help you map a plan.
When does the next cohort start?+
The next ASN cohort begins July 2026. Seats fill on a rolling basis, and the financial aid + transcript review process takes 3–6 weeks. The earlier you start, the more options you have. The first step is the eligibility review below — 60 seconds, no commitment.
Will my ASN credits transfer to a BSN program later?+
Yes. Most Florida BSN programs accept ASN graduates with significant credit. Many PIC alumni move directly into RN-to-BSN bridge programs while working as RNs — often with employer tuition reimbursement covering the BSN cost.
Why should I trust PIC over a community college?+
Community college nursing programs in Florida often have 2–3 year waitlists. PIC has no waitlist for qualified applicants — you start the next cohort. We're ABHES-accredited, ACEN-accredited, and licensed by the FL Board of Nursing. We're VA-approved and Title IV eligible. The difference is speed, focus, and direct support — we only train nurses. That's all we do.
